Once Upon A Night in Manila Chinatown

I have always wanted to visit Manila Chinatown without any exact purpose in my head. I just wanted to see the place and experience it first hand. The place is old, historical and a heritage which symbolizes the bond between the Filipino and Chinese culture. So, after going to Divisoria to buy some stuff, Philip and I decided to take the chance to have a peek on it. It's already night time so lot of stores were closed already. But, still the lighted ornamental red onions and Mandarin signs and banners still gave us the vibe of being in a Chinatown. And as a must, we have to try on the most authentic-looking Chinese restaurant in there which was still open, and that brought us to Chuan Kee.

We have no idea how original Chinese food should taste like. But one thing was for sure, the version of their lomis and noodles were better from those I have tried previously elsewhere. The taste and serving were rich and generous alike. There are many recipes to choose from and it will make you want to comeback again to try on the others. Plus, there are refreshing drinks which will surely push your satisfaction to the next level.

Hmmm, when will be my next time?

You can visit them on 650 Ongpin St. Cor. Yuchengco St., Binondo, Manila.

That's all.
